anyone help
recently my 10 month old ipaq 4700 started hard resetting spontaneously
logged onto hp help and was advised to ROM upgrade
did this no problem - was working fine
about 1 hour later ipaq just died - no lights / charging / wifi / nothing
tried battery out for 24 hours and replacing - checked catches are in place
tried charging via usb etc
still nothing
have I killed it with ROM upgrade??
please help anyone - cannot afford to buy another one right now
thanks
sasha
unfortunately husband removed back - thereby invalidating warranty to check chip not displaced / something simple - then we realised 10months and still warranty - doh - thought was older
I've had a think about this and the first thing I would do if I was you is slap your husband around the back of the head and tell him to stop fiddling with things, I know us men are like that, thats why there are woman around to control us. As to the problem with your iPaq are you getting absolutely nothing, not even an LED flashing when you try to power up and what happens when you connect to the USB, does activesync recognise the device but fail to connect, how dead is dead here?
