This morning when I went to sync my 8125 with my computer, I found that my computer no longer recognizes the phone. When I plug in the USB connection, my phone begins to charge, but the Active Sync will not begin. I tried to reset the phone and reboot the computer, but to no avail. I updated Active Sync to 4.2 and yet I still get no response. The phone and the PDA work fine. I tried to activate Active Sync from the PDA, but it doesn't work. Any thoughts on how I can get it to work again? Thanks.
I've had the same problem a couple times. I connected up to my pc and removed the server under Configure Server. This removed my mail folder, contacts and calendar. I then rebooted the device and recabled the device and added the Exchange server back.
I've also fixed it by just changing my password in the domain and then doing the same on my device.
1. Always uninstall activesync before installing the upgrade.
2. if No.1 didn't work, then delete the existing connection with your pocket pc in active sync on your desktop and reconnect. it should work without you losing your data.
