iPaq rw6828 USB Fast Charge

Can someone shed some light on the difference of USB Fast / Slow Charge options?

Something about the fast charge says to me NO - otherwise why would it be a option?

Any advice is very welcome.

Daniel

I can't tell you exactly what the differences is or why you have a choice.
I have a rw6828 too and I use fast charge. I haven't had problems.
I also read somewhere that using slow charge won't really charge at all because it will use power faster than it is charging (I can't verify this though).
Hope this helps.

Ok slow charge is if it will be sitting around for sometime not powered on sort of like a trickle charge charge and will not heat up the battery hope this helps understand a little better......

If there's an option, I wonder if it's the device telling the usb to feed its max 500ma current to it instead of the normal 100ma. I believe this could be used to charge off of unpowered usb hubs.
