hi i was planing on getting a new phone, so far i have ben really thinking about the Cingular 8125 Pocket PC. i want A phone with a keyboard. and i tthink the touch screen is cool to. i need to beable to go on aim, check my msn email, go on some websites would myspace.com and stuf like that work. and have some simple games. is this going to be a good phone for me>? wil it be the best one for me? because i am planning on selling my computer to get it because i no longer play computers games really and i have another computer i can use. i was also wonder what are good sites to buy or look at cel phones at? where are they the cheapest? the cheapest i found it was 250 on cingular but it wont let me buy a phone on it, it just says may be avible for upgrade. what are some other phones that would compare to this and be good for what i want. i also herd that the 8125 was kinda of slow and i was wondering if i bought a 1gig memory stick would that increase the speed of it and the internet?
from me to u, the 8125 isn't as slow as the critics make it out to be. but then again it all depends on what u use it for. a memory card will help free up a good amount of storage memory...but outside of that, I haven't seen how it affects internet browsing.
theres a really good 8125 review on youtube. if u search for it, it'll be the one that's 21+ mins long.
if ur just tryna buy it w/o a plan or any comittment whatsoever, u might wanna go the ebay route and just buy an unlocked version of the phone. u just gotta have a sim card beforehand and u should be straight.
as far as aim goes, I downloaded the uk version of aim....and I dunno why they call it that because its damn near the same thing. only thing I've noticed with it is that I don't think that u can set away messages and its kinda hard togglin between two or more convos....
internet browsin is pretty good....matter fact, I'm posting this message from the phone now using wifi.
