Hi,
Though I am a new member to your forum, I am a sreious pocketPC addict, (my wife doesn't like seeing me spend so much money and time on accessories for the iPAQ, but, well...it's worth it) so I purchased the HP bluetooth keyboard for my Pocket PC iPAQ 4150. Both are european models. Anyway, despite knowing that HP has a notorriously bad Customer Service, I got this hardware. Only...I spent the past three days banging my head and plucking off my hair trying to install the darn (oops, pardon my language) thing, and I can't make head or tail of neither the installing instructions that came with the keyboard, nor the "help" section on the www.hp.com\support. The problem is that after I have followed all the steps of the instalation manuel, reseted the ipaq and tried to run the program from the programs menu, when trying to tick the box that says "enable keyboard" I get the message: "DKBdriver" is not a valid Pocket PC application". I tried the instalation process over and over again, tried the recomended update of the instalation program, and yet, every time, I get the same result. Can anyone help? Thanks
Marko
Hey guys, I just got off the chat with the HP rep. They offer no guarantee that this will work, and are not liable to any damages that might occur, but offered it anyway. I am to hard resset the iPAQ, then reinstall the ROM driver, then the Update for the keyboard, which I am to download from their site. Here goes.
Um, there must be a missunderstanding, or I have misstyuped something that is wrong. I am doctor of medicine at present on residency of general surgery. Do you have any suggestions for my problem?

I tried the solution offered me by HP.com, and it worked. Fortunatelly, I didn't lose anything important. First I backed up all the files, then performed a hard resset, and hound out that the ROM was OK, that is it wasn't changed, was still in English. Then I installed the driver for the keyborad I got from the hp.com/support web page, and it worked. Then I performed a sellective restore from the backup, ommiting certain backup files, such as parts from the program files and the registry, and then everything was back to normal. It seems that at that one time when I had a crush down of the device, some files must have been corrupted, so the hard resset turned all back to normal. So, there you have it, thanks for all the support.
