8124 Alarm / Reminder Screen

For some reason my alarms / calender reminders do not have the pop-up screen anymore. I do not have the option to 'dismiss' or 'snooze' when I have set alarms or had calendar reminders. Does anyone know how I can get these to operate correctly again? I have tried messing with settings (i.e. turning them off, reseting, and turning them back on) and tried soft resets of the device but they still don't seem to work.

Alarms will go off at the correct time but then I can't dismiss or select 'snooze'. Any suggestions would be great!

Gustie32,

I was going to suggest a soft reset but you've already done that. I'm not sure why it would stop doing that all of a sudden but maybe someone else would know. Anybody else got some ideas?

Are you syncing with outlook on the PC

So you have reset the reminder option on the Notification setting page to display the message on the screen, right?

I was wondering if the reminders were showing up on the desktop. I had this problem earlier and had to use the /Cleanreminders command line option referred to on the following page.

Using command line switches | HowTo-Outlook

This seemed to fix them on the desktop and the device.

Another option would be to look at the notification queue on your device using a tool like MemMaid. This would at least allow you to see if there was some corruption in the queue and remove duplicates. You could also see if the reminders are actually in the queue.
