Toshiba e740 Screen

Help! My e740 has developed a white screen. Rebooting will not help. Is it dead? I'm addicted to the Wifi connection and the e330 I have as a back up just isn't the same. Any ideas?

duek469, have you tried pushing any of the buttons to try to wake it up? If that doesn't work you might have to do a hard reset... this will result in losing everything on your device.

Thanks for responding. I have tried everything, including a hard boot. I can hear it booting up, but the screen stays white. I can't tell if the buttons are functioning correctly and I know that it is telling me I need to align my screen, but since it is all white, I can't do that. Any other ideas?

I've been researching around and I guess the Toshiba e740 as well as other Toshiba PDAs are infamous for the white screen... some people have claimed that a hard reset fixed this problem. I know for you it hasn't and I don't see another way to fix it on your own. Do you have a warranty on it?
