Cool Push Email

Hey guys im a new memeber trying to configure a K-Jam for push email with our exchange server problem is not to sure about where to locate the option on the phone and config any advice ...

Hi mr_man1234, you can find a tutorial on how to set-up push email here... I know it's for the HP iPAQ rw6800 but it should work for Windows Mobile 5.0 devices in general. Let me know if this helps!

Thanks for the heads up....very useful and appreciated..just found out our exchange server doesnt have push setup yet..

still no joy

Hi everyone the problem i have now is that Push is on but it always wants to use GPRS instead of out wireless that we have in our company.

Any help where to hard set to use wireless...i can use wireless to browse the web...Thanks

You may want to try deleting the Cingular medianet options. Here's something from another thread:

"To disable MediaNet on your Cingular 8125, just go to Start>Settings>Connections Tab>Connections>Manage Existing Connections>the tap and hold the MediaNet connection and select delete. That should do the trick."

Also, after you've deleted MediaNet, you'll want to remember to turn on wi-fi first... others have experienced GPRS still trying to connect even after deleting the connection and others have had luck... try it out and let us know how it goes!
