could someone explain to me the difference b/t wap and html browsers? from what I understand is that my phone should have the capability of both so how do I choose b/t the 2 and why would I want to use one over the other?
also, why can't I access this whole site, only the forums when I'm on my 8125? its also the case on sites like espn.com and yahoo. is there anyway to change the settings to allow viewing of the entire website even if it isn't optimzed for a pda?
html broswers show an entire website, similar to your desktop or laptop. wap browsers let you view the same website but in a stripped down version with mostly text. Depending on your preferences, this should help you decide.
Regarding your inaccessibility of whole sites, i'm guessing that you're using the wap broswer... but if you already tried pocket IE and had the same problem then I suggest trying out a different html browser.

The Opera mobile browser for WM5 is optimized for small screen rendering on PDA's and other devices that use small screens for web browsing. The browser reformates the web pages so that you can view any web page on your small screen device without having to scroll side to side. It is free to try for 30 days and $24 to keep after that. They have a patent on this technology so other browsers can not do this little trick except for them at the moment. Go to their web page at Opera browser: Homepage and find the link to opera mobile and then download the version for Windows Mobile 5. They also have a Opera Mini browser for phones & other devices that is free and works in the same way. Your device will have to use the Mobile browser. Check it out.
Welcome to Pocket PC Addict Wolfman! and thanks for that suggestion... I've also heard a lot of good things about Opera, and it wouldn't hurt to try it free for 30 days.
