I have been extensively searching the Internet for information on the ROM Image files used for Windows CE products. I have a GPS system based on Windows CE 4.2 but I have a problem. The system comes with pre-installed software running as the shell and a lot of the Windows CE components have been stripped. Therefore I can only really use it as a GPS and nothing else. I am looking for a way to load a different image onto the device but as of yet I haven't found any information useful.
The main problem falls with the fact that this device is not based on any of the common platforms. It is based on a Centrality Communications chipset with an Atlas/ARM processor (from what I am lead to beleive).
I know exactly what you are trying to do, but unfortunately, there is no solution for this. Just because it runs Windows CE doesn't mean that there is a ROM that includes Windows Mobile OS software. I believe it just has the framework of CE. Now, thats not to say that it's not possible, but you'd have to get the Windows Mobile source code to make it work right for your GNAV10. Sorry to be so emo...
