My 8125 shows that I have very little RAM (lless than 2 MB, which is even less than it was a half hour ago). There's nothing running. It's never shown so little RAM before.
I've checked for large files, and there supposedly are none.
The Today screen is not showing; I can get the calendar, contacts, etc. when I click those from the menu or hot buttons.
This happened once before and I simply reset it. But I don't want to have to re-set the darned thing every 30 days and then go through and set the features as I like it.
What is eating my memory? I've got a memory leak!!! Anyone else got this?

Do you browse the web and download a lot on your Cingular 8125? If so, stuff might still be lodged up in your IE Cache. I'd recommend using MemMaid to sove any memory problems. Let me know if that works for you!
I did download and just for the fact that it allows a soft re-boot that won't erase my personal settings is absolutely worth the money! What was Cingular thinking to make a soft re-boot (as far as I can tell) nearly impossible otherwise?
Thanks much for the suggestion. This has been an amazingly productive forum for me.
Great to hear that MemMaid is working out for you. Just a clarification, the Cingular does have a soft-reset hole at the bottom that wont erase your personal settings... MemMaid is definetly an awesome product!
Hope this forum can be even more productive for you!
