Im referring to Expansion cards like SD/MMC/CF and other alike. I believe sandisk and toshiba already have those capacity.

I have a 2 GB miniSD card in my 8125 and it works flawlessly. I got mine off of newegg.com for about 47 dollars. I love having all the storage space. I definitely recommend reinstalling all of your software to the storage card.

so with all the drama that i had with the 2gb memory card that i got which only had 1gb of space ended up getting returned and refunded..so i went on outpost.com and there still is a kingston 2gb for 47 and a 10 rebate..i also found one by patriot which is a 2gb for 37.99, and since i wanted it as fast as possible since ive been lost with out a memory card..i had it overnighted and the total price after shipping was 51 bucks..still a bargain since im getting it overnighted..haha

4gb mini sd

The biggest mini sd I've seen was a 4 gb made by treo. I almost bought it but am waiting to see someone else get it first to make sure it works on my 8125. I've never seen an 8 gb mini sd, but maybe by next week we will. I've heard talk about them making huge sd cards though, around 20-40 gb!!!!! That will be great! But then our phones probably wouldn't know what to do with them. Oh yeah, my friend has a 2 gb mini sd in his 8125 and it works great. I just have a 1 gb in mine. I also learned the hard way to format the card in the phone NOT on the computer! When I formatted it on my computer my files would become corrupted all the time. I should have known better since my desktop is XP and my phone is CE. duh

I picked up an Industry Standard 4gb card for my 8125 off of memorysuppliers.com . It was $60...but you can also get $10 off if you post a link to their website on one of your personal sites, such as myspace or something...the card works great...i've had the phone for about a week and have had no problems what so ever

have you tried using a card reader and plug it in your pc. then you might want to format it first. To be safe try to format it at FAT format..

I bought a 4gb mini sd for my phone about 2 months ago and I think it works great. I think I posted a link on one of these posts (that talk about mini SD and micro SD).

Just make sure that if you have an 8125 you get mini SD and for and 8525 you get a MICRO.

I have a 2 GB Sandisk card in the 8125. I tried a 4 GB card (Sandisk) and it was ....unreliable. Sometimes it would save things, sometimes not.

I have some suggestion guys, before using your new SD/mini SD card, what i do is i first format it either using my resco Explorer or on my desktop pc and formatting it in FAT16/32.
Then im good to go...

I bought a 2gb Sandisk mini from CompUsa for $24, ripped it out of the package right there in the parking lot and shoved into my 8125 and it worked great, no formatting required.

I think a better option is to get on ebay and buy what is called a micrSD to miniSD adapter. MiniSD is on it's way out. It is already harder to find and soon next to impossible. Walmart thought I was crazy when I asked for a minisd. They kept trying to sell me a micro because they never heard of mini. Get the adapter and you can be sure of compatability with all the micros and devices that use them. MicroSD is also much cheaper than mini. You can get a microSD 4gb for 30-40 bucks.
I opted for a 2gb micrsd off ebay for 16 bucks after shipping. Just something to think about.

um? actually a few new phones have gone back over to mini sd because of there higher capacity without having to go sdhc which a few phones are having trouble with. you can get a 4gb mini sd to work on a few mda wizards 8125s but you cant get a 4gb micro sdhc to work on a 8125. and no mini sd are cheaper than micro. a 4gb mini will run you about $45 with shipping off ebay and a micro will run you about $65. sry not trying to call yo out or anything unless you know something i dont which i have been wrong in the past. do you have a 4gb micro sdhc in your 8125? if so please let us know how you did it.

No but I really have seen 4gb micro for 45 dollars as well. Watch out for the overseas ones though in all truth. I still feel strongly that mini is on it's way out, and micros are just going to continue to become cheaper and cheaper. I bought a 2gb micro for my 8125 so not sure if 4gb works or not.
