This is my first time setting up a wireless connection on a pocket pc, so please bear with me. First, here is my hardware specification:
Fujitsu LOOX 600
Windows Mobile 2003 (4.21)
D-Link Air CompactFlash Adapter - DCF-660W
NetGear MR814v2 Router
I had a bit of trouble finding a driver for the card, but I was able to find one called "Perfect Prism", which seems to be working fine on it. Ok so after installing the driver, heres what I'm getting:
When I go to Settings->Connections->Connections->Advanced
What am I supposed to set under "Select Networks"?
- I made a new setting and just checked "This connects to the internet" under Proxy, is that what I'm supposed to do?
Then what about under "Programs that automatically connect to a private network..." , what am I supposed to add/select there?
When I go under "Network Card", it shows a wireless networks box and it shows the name of my wireless router, HOFFICEWL, and next to it, it says "Connected", which means to me that my network card is working fine, its just my settings are off somewhere.
Under the Network Adapters tab, I have My network card connects to: "The Internet"?
Even though it says connected, I'm not able to ping through, I tried both using DHCP and setting a static IP.
