Is my screen broke or is it something else?

Hi I've got an ipaq 3630 that powers on but the screen is extreamly blured. When it starts up I can tell that the align screen is active because of the colors that are on the screen, but when I try to fool the device by tapping in the area where the target should be it never goes past that screen into the normal introduction to windows 2000. I've tried changing the battery because the old battery was no good and now it holds a charge but won't show a clear screen, also I've tried to reset the device and still the same problem. I just want to know how do I test the device to see if the screen is bad or if something else in the device is broken. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you need any further explanation about the problem my E-mail is Bushybangbang@aol.com

My guess is that the screen is finally kaput. I'd recommend replacing the whole unit as just replacing the screen for this unit would cost too much time and money. Even if you wanted to use a screen diagnostic program, you would still have to get the device up and running to see and run the program. Sorry bushybangbang but I think your iPAQ 3630 made its last hurrah...
