Welcome to Pocket PC Addict Gochengz! The best way to go about setting up a LAN for your Pocket PC and desktop is via WiFi. Do you have a WiFi router? If so you're 3/4 of the way there!
How about with bluetooth .. can i connect via bluetooth...?
for info .. i have PPC Ipaq 1940 and bluetooth dongle for PC.
and i was connect, but i can't browse my web server on my PC ...
May u explain to me .. why that???
It is possible to create a network connection via bluetooth but it is very slow. I don't understand what you are saying about not believe able to browser your web server on your PC. Can you please clarify? Thanks!
I would begin the process by pairing your Pocket PC with your Desktop and make sure it is set up to join your network (do this on your Pocket PC). At that point if your web server is setup correctly you should just need to type in http://computername, or ip address in Internet Explorer Mobile and you should be good to go.
Are you using the standard Windows XP SP2 Bluetooth drivers or do you have a third-party program?
Hmm... I would recommend scratching the whole bluetooth thing altogether and going with WiFi. You'll get a better connection and results guaranteed. Is this an option for you?
