It should, I am using a 1 GB one... I think the maximum is 4 GB.
It comes with TomTom 5 but there is a free upgrade available for TomTom 6 at iPaq Choice website at iPAQ Choice
I am using a 2G mini sd in the Ipaq 6955 (Canadian Rogers version) and I think I read it can go up to 4G.
I have also had the 6515 and I can vouch that the 69xx series are WAY better! Vast improvements to the GPS for sure. I couldn't maintain a connection to the sats for very long on the 6515, but the 6955 stays connected very well!
