Have you tried making a call with the bluetooth radio turned off in the comm manager? Try that out and let us know what happens!

I have tryed disconnecting the bluetooth hands free kit totaly and sometimes I can talk on the phone and others I can't. From trial and error I think the phone is tricking itself into believing the hands free kit is still turned on when it isn't. I tried a experiment just now, rang the phone with the hands free turned on and then pressed the answer button on the phone .... it was dead .... pressed the answer button on the bluetooth and I could hear it.

What bluetooth hands free kit do you use? Also, have you tried turning bluetooth off on the phone altogether? I'm guessing that if your handsfree is in the vicinity of the phone it will use that by default. You can try to switch to handset while you are on the call in the menu options. Let me know what you find!

Not sure on the make and model of the bluetooth handset. It worked fine with my other phone. Now I got other problems
1. Noticed that when I couldnt speak to the people on the other end that all the other noises on my phone wouldnt work either. I turned on a game that normally makes a noise and got no sound .... so maybe it is a speaker problem?
2. Turned on the handsfree kit today and there is no connection to the phone, I checked the coms and I am told that there is no Hardware Installed On this Device .. sigh
Since I turned of the handsfree the phone has been working fine.

Hmm... I wouldn't be suprised if it was the handsfree at fault. Let us know of your results!

Thumbs up

Thanks for your advice it turned out to be some faulty wiring. Sent it in for repair $150 later but all fixed and working like a charm.
