That's right. . . I'm embarking putting a "CarPuter" into my 2006 BMW 325i. Most people, like from other sites, like mp3car.com actually install a touch screen, remove the head unit, install a freak'n PC, but I'm not willing to invest THAT much money into doing that (plus the LOAD TIMES!). . . so here's the alternative with the most recent axim x51v deal. And. . . I already have a bunch of stuff.
I originally began looking into this issue because my car has an AUX input, which is the standard tiny headphone jack thingy. I've been able to hook up my iPAQ h1945 to it just fine and play audio through the system, along with the GPS bluetooth capability.
But the limitation was in exactly how much music I could store on my pocketPC. I have about a 20GB music collection (completely legit, thank you very much).
Now, I could've bought an iPOD video for like $380 that has 60GB of space, but then I would've been limited to its annoying interface (well, I think it's annoying without touch screen capability) and only music and well. . . . I could go on with limitations compared to a PocketPC. . .
My brain is dead from all the research, I've been doing, so here's the rundown of things.

I was originally going to use some kind of auto adapter to attach to the wireless hard drive encasement, but I was like, wait a second, why not just attach a power inverter? Then if I want in the future, or anytime, I can use the power inverter to power up a laptop, heck if I really wanted to. . . a TV, and X-Box. Save me some bucks on all the numerous power adapters. . .
Anyway, as the products arrived, and once I get it optimized, I'll post pics and let you allls know how it went.
