Hey what's up community!!!!!
The issue I need help with is....
I have an Ipaq 2210. I was installing software with the unit in the cradle and went to touch the screen and nothin..It was working fine until this point.
The unit other than that works fine.
I thought possible software/driver issue???? So I did most current rom update and still nothin.
The touch screen is completly inoperable
The only odd thing leading up to this current problem is the ipaq while in the cradle turned off; would start up???? loose connection somewhere???

Hey kev76! Welcome! I had this same exact issue with an old Compaq iPAQ 3650. The LCD screen would no longer respond to my taps. There are one of two things that could be causing this issue. You either have a defective LCD screen that needs to be replaced, or the connection between the screen and the board are loose. Have you tried to perform a hard reset on this specific unit? You can find out how here. Let me know how it pans out.
I tryed hard reset...still nothing
You know now that I think about it, I replaced screen protector also.
The protector adhered pretty well...could be the loose connection as you suggested. Hopefully it is not the screen.
I troubleshoot more.
Again thanks
It might also be the iPAQ Digitizer, or the Glasstop. The Digitizer is the part of the screen that is set on top of the LCD display itself. This part is responsible for all of the taps and such. Those run for about $90 bucks. Check that connection first.
