One Card = Storage Card AND Storage Card2??

Well I got my Jornada 565 in the mail, and I'm loving it so far. Considering I upgraded from a Pocket PC 2000 device, this thing is like new technology to me.
I pulled out an old 16MB Compact Flash card that I used to use on my Jornada 520, and decided to use it on my new one. The only thing is that the Pocket PC was reading the card's capacity wrong as only 3MB.
I figured I should just reformat it, but I don't have a Compact Flash reader for my computer, so I decided to try out an application on the device itself called Flash Format to reformat it.
So, I formatted it with this app, and now instead of seeing a 16MB card in my device, whenever I insert my card, File Explorer shows me a "Storage Card" with 13MB, and a "Storage Card2" with 3MB.
I tried reformatting again, but I get the same result every time. I've also tried it in another Pocket PC, and it did the same thing, so I know it's a problem related to the formatting on the card itself.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

That is strange... Honestly... I'd get a new CF card only because they are super cheap nowadays. What were you planning to store on that 16 MB card anyway? 4 songs?
Wish I could help you with this one, but maybe recommending that you get a new CF was help.
