So, on top of all the GPS talk going on around here, HP has come out with the iPAQ rx1950 Navigator that is currently sold as a combo with the CarCradle. What users will probably be most interested in is that the cradle has integrated SiRF star III GPS receiver with built-in speaker and built-in windshield-mount suction cup. Already installed software includes UK based provider Via Michelin Navigation for Pocket PC Version 4.1 + Country Maps preinstalled on SD card – good news for the UK, and more specifically, rx1950 buyers, but it kind of leaves the rest of us in the dark… and possibly rx1950/ rx19xx users in general. There is no known plan to have this product released in the US, but if and when they do, we can only hope that the cradle will leave the nest and be available for separate purchase.
