Palm Showcases Treo 700w Smartphone from Verizon Wireless

So as you all know the Treo 700w was announced yesterday (1/4) at CES. Today, Palm is Showcasing the device in all its glory at their booth at CES. So if you are in or around Las Vegas (or a VZW Store), I suggest you get over there and take a gander.

Today the pioneer of mobile computing, Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq:PALM), will showcase a brand-new member of the Palm(R) Treo(TM) smartphone family -- the highly anticipated Treo 700w smartphone, which takes advantage of Verizon Wireless' BroadbandAccess service on its EV-DO network. The Treo 700w smartphone also is the first Treo smartphone to run the Microsoft Windows Mobile(R) 5.0 operating system, bringing the hallmark Palm ease of use to Windows Mobile for the first time. It combines a great mobile phone with broadbandlike access to wireless email(1) and business applications.

Palm's booth (No. SO 3/30735) also will feature Palm OS(R) based Treo 650 smartphones, Palm Z22 organizers, Palm TX and Palm Tungsten(TM) E2 handhelds, and the LifeDrive(TM) mobile manager, as well as more than 25 accessories. Palm partners also will be demonstrating solutions ranging from Wi-Fi accessibility to office applications in the Palm booth.

Palm executives will participate in several CES panel sessions and the new Treo 700w smartphone will go head-to-head with the best products CES has to offer in PC Magazine's Last Gadget Standing competition.
Palm Activities at CES -- Palm Booth (No. SO 3/30735 in South Hall) When: Thursday, Jan. 5, through Saturday, Jan. 7, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Also on Sunday, Jan. 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. What: Palm will be demonstrating its latest products, including the new Treo 700w smartphone from Verizon Wireless. Other booth highlights will include:
-- Palm's Entire Line of Products: CES attendees will see demonstrations of the Treo 700w smartphone, as well as the Treo, LifeDrive and handheld product lines. Accessories for all of Palm's products are also on display, including the Palm Wi-Fi card, Bluetooth(R) headset and many professional cases.
-- Palm Solutions: While visiting the booth, people will have the opportunity to see demonstrations by Palm's various partners, including Astraware, Audible, AvantGo, Avvenu, Enfora, Handmark, Microsoft, MobiTV, Motricity, NormSoft, PalmSource, Picsel, SanDisk and SplashData.
-- Palm Theater: Show attendees also will see short presentations on a variety of topics, which will run throughout the day, including:
