Ok...this intrigued me. The ability to transfer files using IrDa can appeal to PPC users who have PPCs without USB host capabilities. I can definitely see some appeal for PPC applications. I don't know if it would need special drivers to be recognized, but it might be worth investigating!
I really DO wish we could avoid the "i" this and "i" that however. There are 25 other letters in the alphabet, perhaps we can go to another letter sometime soon.
