What is truly the best?

I’m not sure if I’m on the correct section of this form, but I've been looking into the PPC’s for awhile now and I've only become more intrigued by them. What is everyone’s opinion of what the best PPC is?
My current provider is through Verizon, and I’d like to stay with them if possible, but if I am missing out on an amazing phone not offered through them, then I’ll switch. I've looked into mainly the Treo 650 and the Audiovox VX6600, I've also recently come across the I-Mate PDA 2K which looks good but there isn’t as much feedback on it. I’m currently leaning toward the 6600 and I’d like to go purchase it as soon as possible, but with all the glitches and software upgrades generally needed for it, I was wondering if it is the best one available. Any input?

My "other" vote is very subjective. I hate integrated phones. I don't want my PDA tied to my phone, tied up by my phone, or limited by my choice of phone providers. I don't want my PDA usage dictated by saving battery for my phone. I don't want an important phone call to be at the mercy of an OS that needs a patch. I don't want to be limited to an earpiece or stuck cleaning face oil off my VGA screen. I don't want a call to interrupt my movie, music, game, or GPS activity. I don't want to get a PDA all tweaked out only to find my phone provider stinks or was just swallowed up by Cingular, Verizon, etc... and the features are now all wrong.
....other than that I don't really have an opinion
Now maybe someone who likes this particular combination will give you some actual useful advice.

Drum4ever, I appreciate your opinion, but I was accutally looking into getting a new phone, when I came accrose the all-in-one smartphone/PDA combo, and I loved the idea. I think I liked it a little too much, I acctually just bought the VX660 last night. I couldn't wait; It comes in the mail tomorrow. Thanks for your opinion, I'll let you know how this one works for me anyways, and if its horrible, I always have the 15 days to take it back to the store for a refund!

Hey, good luck with it. I hope its the perfect combination for you! I did say my post was subjective. If we all wanted the same thing the selection would be a lot smaller.
