I have been looking for news of a SDIO USB Host adaptor for a few months now in the hope that something might turn up. I remember seeing a photo of one about 6 months ago but then all traces disappeared.
I personally would find something like this very useful and I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not anything like this is in development.
I'm quite surprised that more PDAs don't have this feature built in. I personally would use it as an easy way to copy photos from my SD cards to an external hard disk.
Is there anyone else who would be interested in this?

I sure would! Or even a USB Port built right into the devices themselves.
They have them for CF - http://www.ratocsystems.com/english/...ges/cfu1u.html - but they don't seem to work well. I'll keep my fingers crossed for an SDIO version...
there is a Software title that does this for PPC. I don't have the link handy. but it lets you mount your PPC memory card as a hard drive on your comp.
