I have an Ipaq Hx4705. I have loaded it with some popular apps, Bejeweled, Avantgo (5 channel), Remote Keyboard, Resco explorer 2003, monopoly, AchieveIT, a file cleanup util, Mpeg PocketTV, and a shutdown utility, and a few other minor apps.
There are times when the hx4705 is zippy, but most of the time the response is not great, only ok. I also have a half gig CF card and a 1GB sd card for media files. Most apps I try to store in the Ipaq files store, and I still have about about 60MB left on that. Available memory is typically the 50% range.
Are there any tips (or utils) from the incredibly bright intelligent users out there that I can apply to get better performance out of my PPC? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Pocket Hackmaster is a swift little program that allows you to control the speed of your XScale processor. You can overclock your procesor to various speeds including a per application overclocking utility. I'm not sure if it works on the 4705 because it's the speediest already.

I heard you can make a PDA burst into flames buy doing that...
