new member and PDA owner needs help!!!!

hope this is the right place to ask this question...Just got my first PDA its a HP rz1710...I want to download music onto it....I got one song on it and of course I need more memory, so I got an SD card...my problem is I can't seem to transfer the music from my PDA memory to the SD card...I think I am following the procedure right ..when I copy and cut the music file to my SD card the little window opens that shows the file transfer...but then, after about 20 seconds I lose my syncronization between the PDA and my computer...Then my PDA freezes up..can anybody tell me why?..or where I can get more help with this

Hello.
Just locate the file on the PDA and then using your stylus point at it and hold it down. Then you will get a copy/ cut option. Select either one. Then navigate to the memory card and again using the stylus click down on the screen and you will be presented with a paste option. Select this option and your music file will copy from main memory on your device to the memory card.
Hope this helps
