All I can tell you is that I love my T-Mobile 6315. I have had many PDA's and mobile phones, and now finally having a PDA that can always be connected to the internet through GPRS (or Wi-Fi when available) is wonderful. I keep weather programs on the Today screen and that is nice, since they can update anytime through the GPRS connection. Also being able to lookup movie times from anywhere, anytime is great. It works just great as a phone and as a PDA. It isn't the fastest in the world, but that doesn't even bother me, really. It keeps the battery life so good that I never even fear running out of power during the day. I can watch a 2 hour movie on an airplane flight and have plenty of power for the rest of the day. It must not look too strange, either, as nobody ever asks me what the heck it is.

Pocket PC Mag gave it high kudos in their upcoming issue. Even though it's not a strong CPU (i.e. you take a speed hit). It is getting good marks for integration of phone and Pocket PC. I'd say if you need a phone and want Pocket PC too, it might be a good way to go.
Are you based in the US? that may play a factor too.
