Taiwan market: Asustek to introduce megapixel camera phones by year-end "Asustek Computer will launch two megapixel camera phones in Taiwan, the M303 and M306, by year-end, according to company vice chairman TH Tung, during the launch of the J102 phone yesterday.
The J102 is the company’s third own-brand phone launched in Taiwan this year and has a built-in VGA-resolution digital camera. The model will soon be available in Hong Kong, according to Tung. " via msmobiles
Pocket PC Phones aren't my thing...yet. However, considering they apparently are becoming the size of regular cell phones, who knows?!?! This one has a 1.8-inch screen, with VGA camera, 4MB memory built in and 80-150 hours of stand by time. With the newer PPC phones boosting those specs, I might just have to give one a try.
Brad, don't be misled by J101/102 from Asus. The PPCphone that Asus is working on will be compared to SonyEricsson P800/9x0. Asus is still pretty new to the phone market, it'll be very difficult for them to build a mini PPCphone in the near future.
