Did you order one of these?
How's that puppy working out for you?
Please let us know.

I am ordering one. Gary, the main man over at
GadgetAddict, bought one last year for about $35
and had some nice initial comments. I've asked
him for his current opinion now that he's had one
for a while but, even if he's no longer thrilled, I
can't NOT buy one for a flat $17...
:?
It's a thermal printer which means expensive thermal paper.... paper that needs to be kept in a temperature controlled environment or it will turn black.
I suspect that even if the printer were FREE, it would be an expensive printer to own.
Yeah, I don't like thermal paper, either. However,
considering the choice between a $17 thermal printer
or no printer at all (for my PDA), I'll take the ability to
print even if I don't intend to use it too often compared
to my home laser printer.
One six-pack of paper runs about $6 on eBay right now,
by the way...
Ok - got my printer in last night. Beautifully crisp, new
retail packaging (ahhhh -- that new gadget smell!).
The printer is tiny -- even my wife said "wow".
Unfortunately it doesn't come with any starter
paper so I can't try it out, yet.
I'll post a quickie review once I've gotten some
paper and played with it a bit...

Well, I got the printer and paper all loaded. Has anyone who bought this printer been successful in printing ? I can not print to the printer from my rx3715 with either the Sipix driver, PocketPrint software nothing. Any suggestions ?
