This actually doesn't work. I was pumped and gave it a try. The coupon is for Peripheral order only and for $525. Darn, I was almost the proud owner of a new X50.

Jeez the Dell X50 is being discounted already and it's not even available yet in the UK.
The UK website is still promoting the 'NEW' (yawn) X30.
That really sucks!

It's about time people in the UK are behind the US on a device release. :P Don't get me started on cell phones. You guys get them sometimes years before we do - it took my local AT&T store a year or more to get the P900

Fair comment, we have seemed to get the whiz bang gadety phones before you guys in the US. (however the phones we get are no way near as whiz bang as the Korean or Japanese devices, man are they off the wall or what?
I've considered purchasing a device and having is shipped over, but I don't like what I'm hearing about the warranty and sending the device back if it ever required servicing.
I guess I'll just have to WWWwwwwaaaaaaiiiiiiiittttttttt some more. Jeez my bums getting numb sitting here staring at the Dell.co.uk website waiting for the first glimpse of the V50x, Not that I'm over keen or anything!
I also note that the rumours on the HX2750 seem to have stalled a tad!

No wonder Dell was giving the X30 away ... I have sold 12 of these new units to customers and we are not really in the sales business. They must be getting some good play in non technical publications.

It didn't work for me either -- how could a coupon for a $525 product work on a $499 product anyway? I was able to use the $55 off $425 coupon though.

The X50? Even at full price, it's a bargain for a VGA device! Congratulations and good luck!

Drum, I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised with your purchase. Like BK says, "even at full price"
