I picked up a Targus IR folding keyboard tonight (on sale I might add) but I'm having a problem getting it too work. I installed the supplied drivers, but they crash the 4700 when you run the installed applet. And I'm not getting any response when trying to type... any ideas folks?
... an bk, I'll have that review for ya soon

Cool! I'm looking forward to it..
I have a Think Outside Stowaway IR Keyboard and I haven't had any problems loading the drivers....but I have had problems with getting the IR arm to line up with the IR port on the hx4705.....I'll probably have to eBay it and pick up a Bluetooth keyboard.

Hey, I went to Targus' site and I don't see you device listed on their compatibility chart also.
I just read your post because I have this keyboard for my 1945 and it works great.
I'd try contacting Targus man. They probably have a solution. There are new drivers 1.31 also.
Peace out!

Yea, I say PPC 2003 on the list for several devices, but I'm guessing that list hasen't been updated for the lastest devices.. and I've e-mailed Targus last night, so hope I can get a fix for it... cause it's a nifty keyboard.
