Teradyne Diagnostic Solutions (TDS) will launch its latest service bay product, the Teradyne Pocket Tester featuring Honda & Acura diagnostic software, at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas, Nevada, November 2 - 5. TDS authors this diagnostic software for Honda and Acura dealerships, and is now making this OEM diagnostic software available for the first time to the independent automotive technician.
Based on PDA technology, the Teradyne Pocket Tester is a lightweight, yet rugged, integrated hand-held tester, running Pocket PC 2003. The Teradyne Pocket Tester also features the latest OEM data, helping independent service technicians diagnose and repair Honda and Acura vehicles. The Teradyne Pocket Tester also features a Generic Data Scan Tool for use on OBDII compatible vehicles.
“For the first time, the independent automotive technician will have the same diagnostic capabilities that the Honda and Acura dealerships currently have,” said TDS Honda Account Manager, Dave Diffell. “The use of Honda and Acura OEM software means that independent technicians no longer have to struggle with using missing, wrong and un-validated vehicle data, thus enabling them to diagnose cars much quicker and more accurately”.
AAPEX attendees will have the opportunity to win a Teradyne Pocket Tester at BOOTH #8940 , and watch product demonstrations during the show. To Register to win click here.
