There are a couple of different preferences when it comes to mounting and carrying your Pocket PC. Some, like me, just pocket em and go. However, others like to clip them to a belt and detach when needed. Still others are the travelling type who need their Pocket PC mounted on the dashboard of their cars. Well, no matter which category you find yourself in, there is a decent multi-review of several different clip options and kits over at Pocket GPS World. The Grip Clip
The Grip Clip is a multi-purpose mount for a PDA or GPS. It comes with two main velcro hook pads. One will clip onto your belt whilst the other can be stuck with the supplied 3M style pads to the dashboard of a car. The object of this mount is that you also have two soft velcro pads that you then stick to the PDA or GPS that you want to mount. When you then place these two velcro pads together they hook and bond extremely well like you would expect from velcro and it means that you can stop having your mobile phone, Bluetooth GPS or even PDA slipping and sliding around the dashboard of your car.
You can also velcro your mobile phone, PDA or GPS providing it's not too heavy to your belt making this the ideal quick and versatile mounting solution with a quick release mechanism (just pull!).
So what's your preference? Are you a mounter, clipper or pocketer?
I had using any case or clip that makes me stick something to my PPC. The dell case that came with the Axim is fine.... leather with belt clip. I got a mount with the Dell Bluetooth GPS and it works fine too... just wish it was powered with a speaker... but I have only had it one day.
I really like it a lot ... I am going to use it for 5 - 7days and do a review - but it has some great features over the Pharos GPS I used before....
1. It finds a signal very fast.
2. 3 D maps
3. Speed limit alarm.
4. can use cordless if you desire.
5. instant re-routing
6. Earlier alert to turns
7. Shows food and services
