Apparently you can have it all and take it with you. According to the Register, T-Mobile is developing an MP3 smartphone running Windows Mobile 2003 that is designed to compete with the iPod and the Creative Jukebox players. It's my opinion they winn need to really focus on the sound quality to make something like this really competitive considering many people have problems with the sound playback quality on the average PDA. "The SDA Music handset is based on Windows Mobile 2003 for Smartphones, and features the usual 176 x 220, 65,000-colour display, VGA digicam, tri-band GSM/GPRS radio you'd expect from a consumer-oriented handset. It provides USB and Bluetooth connectivity. "
So what do you think, would an embedded MP3 player be enough to get you to switch to smartphone? How about the iPOD users...would you trade in your precious piece of Apple goodness for a smartphone?
