Tell'em to back up and put CF on them and I'm all over it. Until then, I'm hanging onto my X5 and looking at Ipaq's.

I hear ya! I love having both SD and CF on my Toshiba e805...my only problem was I had to get a Socket Bluetooth card to complete the package.

If you order this. There will be a wait. I learned that they custom build each one so there is a 3-4 week delay on them. But it's an awesome Pocket PC well worth the wait.
My first observation was how darn light it was. It looks sort of big, but it's very light. When unboxing it, I thought I might have to put it together or something because it felt like the "shell" of a PPC. Instead I inserted the battery and was good to go. The processor is so fast that surfing, even with Pocket IE is about as fast as surfing from a desktop. The built in WiFi is so finely implemented, the dead spots I used to have in my house are no more. I can surf from anywhere, even the front yard if I want to
I was not expecting all that much when I ordered it. I figured it would be a lateral move from the 2215 to the Axim X30. What a pleasant surprise that it wasn't! This is a powerful little workhorse.
Yeah, I had to ditch CF, but with the costs of 512MB SD cards coming down to around $50-$60 with coupons, it's well worth the move for me. YMMV.

I know Sds are getting cheaper but I keep all my apps on SD and swap CFs for data (music,movies,etc...) My GPS is CF. My Wifi is CF. My BT is CF. My remote xtender is CF. I swap them and don't lose app storage. If they make one with built-in GPS to go with the wifi and BT, then add at least 1 gig internal storage, I'm very interested. Til then, I can't afford to replace all my accessories and cards.

What you need is a dual-slot CF/SD with dual-Wifi/BT. That would knock off like have of your cards/devices yer having to swap in/out. :P
Also if you don't make it by the 24th to order this particular PPC from Dell Home, and you have a Small Business, you can save 15% as well by ordering through Dell Small Business. I decided to get an Axim X30 High for software testing purposes, and yeah there's a wait for custom building. I believe I ordered it on the 10th or 11th and it is on its way (in a UPS facility now a few hours away). Expecting it Monday.
I thought about getting one with VGA like an HP, but the price was a major decision maker. I'll wait for Dell to release a new VGA model then. Not looking for the end-all-be-all here anyway.
