Pre-Orders Being Taken for the ASUS A730

Looks like you can be the first kid on your block to Pre-order an Asus A730 from Proportable. The MyPal devices have had a pretty good reputation for speed and power, and this device seems to have it all VGA screen, camera, 128MB RAM and a fast 520 MHz CPU and WiFi. I would have probably chosen this one over the Axim X30 had it been available at the time.
According to brighthand, "The online store PROPortable is now taking pre-orders for one of the most highly anticipated Pocket PCs of this year, the Wi-Fi version of the ASUS MyPal A730. PROPortable is the largest retailer of ASUS handhelds in the U.S.
The A730w will have a VGA screen, two kinds of wireless networking, and dual memory card slots. "

I Just got word from Asus that the ETA on both units just changed moments ago..... Here is the change as follows:
a730 (bluetooth only) - ETA now end of September
a730w (wifi & bluetooth) - ETA now end of October.
I am calling all pre-order customers to inform them of the change...

Which HP are you considering? I gotta tell you that even though I haven't had time to write a review or anything, this Axim X30 is one serious Pocket PC Great value for the money.

I don´t have any doubt, but... in my case the camera is useless and I like more the idea of having a 4 inch display so I'm heading for the hx4700.
PD... I should add... and a more powerful battery.
