Survey: VGA Device comparisons - Updated with new device!

I'm at work and I'm bored
I havn't been able to find anything like this myself, and on trying I found out why :? It took ages.
But here's the spec's I've been able to find, please note the spec's/prices were obtained from the developers website e.g. Hp.co.uk, Toshiba.co.uk etc, with the exception of the Asus A730 where the spec's were liberated from a review posted on PDAfrance, which I couldn't really make head nor tale of (even with the use of babelfish ).
The prices are posted as a guide only, as I'm well aware discounts and bargains are a plenty in various counties and from a variety of suppliers.
If I've omitted any PocketPC (VGA) or have any details incorrect (Excluding price), please let me know and I'll update the post.
So far not one of them is perfect for me, the ipaq is close, but I can't get my head around the 'Retro' (IMHO) touchpad.

Thanks for this... it's neat to see the new VGA devices hitting the market. But, speaking as a purely biased e800 owner, with the price cuts and the wm2003se upgrade, the Toshiba is still looking like the best bargain for anyone getting into the VGA pool.
That and it is the only one that offers "pure" MyVGA VGA functionality.

I didn't think the Axim X30 was VGA...these are VGA devices only, right? Are you sure that the Axim X30 is VGA?

The spec's were taken from Dell website and they state:
Quote:
Display Type: TFT Color 16-bit, Touch Sensitive, Transflective LCD 3.5 inches, 240 x 320 resolution at 65,536 colors (QVGA)
What ever QVGA is (I presume not full vga as the E805, but I'm not entirely sure what QVGA means!) Someone please feel free to enlighten me on the difference, coz i've been pondering that one for a while .

QVGA- Quarter VGA. It is the standard Pocket PC resolution of 240X320 that we've had for years.
IOW - QVGA screens are one quarter the resolution of VGA screens.

Apparently neither is the Asus A730, at least not in the US or UK, it's been reported that it should be released by the end of August.

Doh! Now the penny finally drops in to the empty piggy bank that is my mind.
'Nuff said, the Dell is gone....... I think it did appear a bit misleading though.
