I know it's older, but I got it for a good price and because of one main feature: the CompactFlash support. As it is of my personal belief that Canon makes the best cameras (and I got a great deal on mine), I've got a Canon digital camera and a 512, 256 and 16mb CF cards. And because I'm a total PocketPC newbie, I've got some questions I was hoping you guys could help me out with:
1) Does it seem like a pretty good system?
2) Can I upgrade the OS? What is the latest version?
3) Do they make DivX for PocketPCs?
4) How can I format my television episodes to work on PocketPC? I saw somebody mention this in another thread and nobody answered. I'd love to watch Seinfeld on the go.
5) What are some excellent freeware programs you'd recommend?
6) Any other reccomendations?
Thank you!
1) Does it seem like a pretty good system?
2) Can I upgrade the OS? What is the latest version? Not to PocketPC 2003. Check for the latest updates here: http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/fi...e/71_2591.html
3) Do they make DivX for PocketPCs? Yes. Here is a link, or do a search on Google for Pocket Divx. http://www.projectmayo.com/projects/...hp?projectId=9 I'd rather convert them to mpeg and use PocketTV.

The swiss army knife of format conversion. If you can watch it on your PC, you can convert it to mpeg to watch on your iPAQ.
Then you will need PocketTV to watch them! http://www.pockettv.com/
You could try Big D's guide, which is available Here
It worked for me and I managed to convert ALL of season three of Farscape from DVD to .WMA for viewing on M/S media player 9 and managed to average about 50meg per episode with VERY pleasing results .
If your converting from DIVX it will be even easier and quicker than from DVD.
Most of the tools required are linked on the website and most are free!
Let us know how you get on.
I'm now considering converting all the episodes of the Sopranos, but as always time is an issue!
