I'm curious as to what is the conventional wisdom regarding GPS and Pocket PC? What is the opinion of this esteemed collective? Which hardware and software solution is the best?
I really like SysOn GPS CF Plus + DeLorme Street Atlas 2004 Handheld. The GPS is great (I'm going to post a full review soon) I frequently get <3 second to a fix from hot starts, and it is very very thin, plus I can keep a 6 satellite fix indoors! Power usage is also very little. Delorme street atlas is a great program, with the ability to do address to address routes, find Points of Intrest, and great GPS functionality (Not perfect, but still great)
You can get the GPS new on eBay for about $90: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW
And DeLorme SAH is about $30 on eBay: http://search.ebay.com/delorme-handh...eZ50QQfromZR10
Hope this helps!
