I HATE it and want to restore my PDA to the original OS but I can't get to the file on the pocketpc website...says I need a username and password to get to the site. PLEASE, CAN SOMEONE HELP ME????
The file is accessible through a link on PocketPC Tools. Unfortunately, we are currently down due to our web host changing DNS servers and having a problem. We should be back up soon.

You can find the ROM file here. Be sure that you download the correct file; I believe it is the last one on the list.
The name is "romimg-e800-ppc2k3-101100409-en.zip" and I am giving you an indirect link because this is an internal Toshiba page and it might not be a good idea for there to be too many outside links to their files lest they shut off this resource. Needless to say all this flashing of the ROM and reflashing (especially for US versions) is completely unsupported by Toshiba. So if you brick your device you've got no one to cry to.
That said, no one has lost one yet. And several people report going back and forth between versions for different tasks.
Good luck
Hi and thanks for the link reference. Unfortunately, I've been there before and when I double click the link, it asks me for my user name and password. It appears that someone at Toshiba caught wind of the fact that the information was out there and shut it down. I think I'm out of luck again.
