I tried to order from CDW that night, 7-13, and it was listed as "CALL" but they were closed when I called.
Now none of the new devices are on the site.
Did they sell-out of their preorder supply or did they get in trouble from HP for offering them?
They are still available for preorder on a couple of photo sites but I don't know if they are really going to get them.
I talked to my account rep the next day and he's not sure what happened either!
I don't think they ever really had a firm date on when they were coming.
He said he would let me know as soon as they come back.

This was apparently posted on the 17th.
"I pre-ordered the HP iPaqs HX4705 and RX3715 earlier this week from CDW (before they removed the ability to pre-order from their site). When I called to check the status this morning, the sales person told me that they expect 800 units of the HX4705 in on Monday. I paid for next day shipping on both, so we'll see what happens. The RX3715 shows up as being special ordered for me and will ship on 7/23."
I talked to CDW a few minutes ago and they have no firm date of arrival. They are not allowed to reactivate the part numbers yet, which means that orders can't be placed.
Not sure how that affects someone that actually got an order in during the short time the part number was available!
