According to engadget, ATP has a new dime sized miniSD card that will weigh in at 512MB. They feel the cards will get easily lost and I can't say I'll argue, but I still wouldn't mind getting smaller memory for my Pocket PC. "ATP Electronics Inc., a leading manufacturer of memory products, announced today that it will introduce world’s first 512MB miniSD at Computex 2004 where ATP is demonstrating products in Hall 1, Booth #B626, 628, 725, and 727. ATP miniSD cards mainly target at the next-generation smart mobile phones with built-in cameras, video recorders, MP3 players, video games, personal information management (PIM), email and voicemail functions which require intensive storage.
miniSD is a thumbnail-sized card designed to serve the increasing demand for removable storage as required by next generation mobile phones and devices. It was first adopted by Japanese cell phone makers for their multi-function rich media next generation cell phones in 2003."

Why? Are those huge SD cards too heavy for you?
Seriously, there are way too many flash memory formats now. Yes, miniSD is more for phones than PDAs, but how much space in the phone do they really save?
Plus, even though price wasn't mentioned, you know these will cost even more than 512 MB SD cards.
