I have an iPAQ4150. I got two spare batteries recently. I am anxious to change the batteries yet, because I am afraid this will result in losing the main memory programs. Friend of mine advised the battery-swapping needs be done very fast. If what he said is true, how fast then? I guess it will take 2-3 mins.

You should be able to change any battery in about a minute. I have been changing batteries a long time with different PPCs and never had a problem.
