On then off

I am running PPC 2003 on an iPAQ 2215. Everytime I boot up the device it turns itself off after ten or fifteen seconds. When I re-boot it turns back on to stay. I would like to eliminate this double boot. Can you tell me what is happening and how I might fix the problem?

You are not alone.

If I find out, I'll post a response here. I bought my 2215 in March 2004. The problem seemed to occur after I began regular backups.

This is the ipaq backup bug. You need the sprite software patch. It can be found. Download the updated version of the file 'SpriteWakeUpService.exe'.
