iBIZ Virtual Keyboard now in stock

We've been keeping an eye on the iBIZ Virtual Keyboard since it was announced what? Two years ago? Anyway, it's now available via the iBIZ webstore. If you've been living under a rock, and never seen this device, here's an overview. It beams a laser keyboard onto a flat surface and lets you type onto your Pocket PC using nothing more than a tabletop, book, rock? Anyway, it retails for $99.95.
"The Virtual Keyboard leverages the power of laser and infrared technology and projects a full-size keyboard onto any flat surface. As you type on the laser projection, it analyzes what you're typing by the coordinates of that location.
Unlike many small snap-on keyboards for PDAs, the Virtual Keyboard provides a full-size QWERTY keyboard including Function keys. It is also smaller and more convenient to use than the folding-type keyboards made by some manufacturers and similar to them in functionality.
There are no mechanical moving parts whatsoever in the Virtual Keyboard. It provides a projected image that is the perfect portable input device for PDAs. It's similar in responsiveness to regular keyboards, but extremely futuristic looking."

I ordered one of these yesterday and so far my order tracking only shows that I have placed the order. That's a relief- I thought maybe I had only dreamed I placed the order.
I can get no confirmation that the order has been filled, looked at, or in any other way truly confirm that the devices are actually in stock. MobilePlanet shows them to be out of stock.
So, we'll see if their web site is just inciting pre-orders or not. If I haven't received the unit by tomorrow it's not in stock no matter what they say.
I intend to do a full review of the VK once I have it.

I'm beginning to wonder if iBIZ has announced they're in stock finally just to quiet all the articles appearing on the web about their continual delays.
I ordered on Monday and have no confirmation of any kind that they have even acknowledged my order. I suppose they could just be inept at direct selling.
Makes you wonder how CS will be.

Well, unless you ordered a VK back in January don't count on getting one any time soon. Rather than recap a long story I just posted to our web site here's the link:

Very deceptive trade practice and I cancelled my order.
