My XDA2 PPC by O2 is Dead!

hi dear learned ones...
My XDA2 PPC by O2 is suddenly dead while I was performing routine tasks, like may be was trying to read an SMS. Earlier it restarted again and again, sometimes memory remained intact but some times all the memory was washed out and I used to restore it from backup!

Is it because of internal battery fault? Please guide how can I get it fixed?

Regards

Thanks Dear Mr. Chris, you are right sir

hi sir, you are right. I detatched the battery, recharged and every thing was fine!
Though data was lost, I restored from a backup and now it is working perfectly alright. I once again thank you for taking time to reply me.
Regards
