My name is Louis and I am currently working on a prototype project for a LCD touchscreen light switch which could replace a normal switch in a normal electrical 1gang switch box. Does anyone know which pocket PC model I could use that has a small enough motherboard to fit in such a tight space ?
I am planning on trimming it down but after working with 4 different models, motherboard is always in one piece and is too high to fit in the junction box. Also, we would like to add a frame around it so it is not in contact with other electrical or metal components.
We have tried with a DELL X30 and results are almost perfect. Screen size is ok ( could be smaller ) but MTB is still too big.
We also worked with a Samsung I760 but this one has a one piece MTB that's way too long in height.
THERE HAS TO BE A UNIT WITH A VERY SMALL MTB. We dont need performances or esthetics, all we need is a ultra compact device with a 2.5 inch screen minimum ( diagonal ).
