I WILL NOT BE N00BISH (well, ill try not to be)

Like i posted before i am really just tryiong to learn about PPc's and well, i couldnt find this information.

I posted in another area of the forum that I will be getting a Cingular 8125 Phone/PPc. One of the things i want to be able to do on this phone is play emulated console games. now, i know i can do this, i already researched it.

What i want to know is on the Cingular 8125, i know the screen goes to landscape view. so the emulation applications go landscape as well when the keyboard is out? or do they stay in portrate view?

I am also wondering if there are any older games made for the PPc

Civilization 2
Masters Of Orion 1 & 2

like good old turn based games

heck even some RTS might be fun like

C&C Red Alert
Starcraft

and others.

200mhz cant run alot, but it could most definitly run those games...

Thanks in advance~

you can try this, - FPSEce - The Playstation Emulator For Your Pocket PC

its an emulator for ps1 games on your PPC. They make some of the games your looking for, for the ps1, so if you can find them then you can probably play them on ur PPC using this emulator.

you can try to google ps1 roms on google and try to see what happens

Hi JasonKnight,

Here's a thread that you might want to check out for additional emulator options: emulator - MorphGear

But as far as the landscape mode issue, I believe you can with MorphGear according to this post here.

Hope this helps!

I believe it would work... the best way to find out would be by trying it. In the software description it says that it can play off your external memory so if after you try it and it doesn't work, it shouldn't be too difficult to get rid of it.
