HTC Leo, the 1st Windows Mobile phone with Multitouch

There's been plenty of rumor and speculation regarding the HTC Leo and now, to fill in the picture a bit, the kids at PocketPT have released a demonstration of the device's multitouch capabilities. Leaked specs for the HTC Leo had everyone excited about the possibility that its massive 4.3-inch screen could be a glass capacitive panel—a novelty for Windows Mobile phones. Well, not only is it capacitive, it's multitouch. With the Leo, it looks like HTC's pulled another Hero: They've taken an OS that isn't designed for multitouch out of the box—in this case Windows Mobile 6.5 instead of Android—and added gestures to specific applications themselves: in this case the browser, Google Maps, the photo viewer and the video app. Best of all, the Leo's 1GHz Snapdragon processor renders pinch zooming waaaay more smoothly than the Hero's dumpier processor, also from Qualcomm, handling multitouch video gestures without a hint of stuttering.
